Speaker Bio:
Retired mechanical engineer.
I have been beekeeping for over 20 years. I am active member of the Spartanburg Beekeeping Association and teach the Certified class in Spartanburg. I currently have around 60-70 colonies in the Northern Greenville County area. I am a Journeyman level in the SC Master Beekeeping program and I am a member of the NC beekeeping association. My interest and focus is on raising queens. I am working on a queen breeding program with a focus on VSH section. I manufacture and sell a queen instrumental insemination device and other bee keeping aids that I have developed such as stainless-steel feeding jar caps.
