I am so excited to find this group and join. I am brand new to bee keeping - so brand new I took my first class yesterday at Honey Top bees in Chapin and have a second class scheduled for March 2. Bees absolutely amaze me! I’m so fascinated by them and want to learn as much as I can. Honey is something I eat daily for it’s health benefits. I have a small raised bed garden on a small 5 acre farm and felt bees would be a great addition for better pollination. I have ordered my hive box and gear and plan to add my first colony of bees in April. I want to learn as much as I can and look forward to meeting all of the wise folks ahead of me on the bee keeping journey in this group.
