Our very own David MacFawn with one of several books he has written (Applied Beekeeping). David is a Master Craftsman Beekeeper and has been beekeeping for 60 years! The second picture, David is working one of his hives.
We have mornings in the bee yard (held at least quarterly) where members discuss what should be going on in their hives and learn about swarm management and seasonal pest control (oxylic acid treatment to the right, October 8, 2022).
We also offer beginning beekeeping classes at the beginning of the year (see the tab 'Upcoming Events').
