During the summer of 2012 honey bees took over two squirrel boxes and renewed in me an interest in beekeeping.

Have completed the Certified level classroom instruction and passed the Certified test. Will complete my practical check off this summer.

Currently managing seven hives in the Pine Ridge area of Lexington. Also have an interest in honey bee swarm traps and have set four traps in the area in the hopes of catching swarms this year as last year. All of my hives are Langstroth 10 frame hives.

Always interested in meeting other local area beekeepers.
